We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Analyst to join our Loan Agency team in Madrid. In this role, you will support the team across a portfolio of loan agency transactions, develop your technical skills and begin building client relationships. You will work closely with experienced colleagues to deliver outstanding service to our clients while gaining exposure to the full range of loan agency operations.

Role and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Client Relationship Management
Support senior team members in building strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Manage day-to-day client queries with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Help prepare materials for client meetings and gradually take on more communication responsibilities.
Spot opportunities to improve client satisfaction and support commercial initiatives.
Service Delivery Excellence
Learn to manage a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loan transactions.
Assist with key administration tasks: calculations, rate fixings, drawdowns, repayments, and transfers.
Set up and maintain transactions in our internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
Coordinate documentation and timelines for transaction closings.
Act as a bridge between lenders, borrowers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
Support covenant monitoring by helping gather and review financial information, making sure the right documents are shared quickly and accurately with both lenders and borrowers.
Contribute ideas to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce risk.

Qualifications/Experience:
University or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
Early professional experience in analytical or financial tasks — any exposure to loan servicing or similar areas is a plus but not required.
Skills & Competencies:
A growth mindset, especially around data management, AI tools, automation and basic programming concepts, with curiosity to learn and apply new technologies in your daily work.
High attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently.
Languages:
Fluent Spanish, as this will be your main working language. Good English communication skills (written and spoken). French or German are a plus.
