Chief Legal Officer

James is the Chief Legal Officer and co-Founder of Palmer, responsible for designing the legal, risk and compliance frameworks of the group.  He is also the Luxembourg Managing Director, where he leads a team developing and delivering a strong local product.

Before launching Palmer, James was the CLO of Sanne Group plc, a FTSE 250 business that specialised in fund administration and corporate services across the globe.  Prior to Sanne he was General Counsel at TH Real Estate, a leading asset manager now part of Nuveen, and at Aztec Group, where he also founded its Luxembourg business.

James’ professional background is an English solicitor and a Luxembourg avocat.  His experience covers all aspects of fund structuring and regulatory compliance within industry.
